Hi! My name is Sarah Coleman
I’m an Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Content Creator based in the NJ/NYC/Boston area. Born and raised on the Jersey Shore (the area, not the show), I grew up immersed in amazing theater communities and have been drawn to the spotlight ever since. Whether it’s on stage, in front of the camera, or even performing in my kitchen, storytelling has always been my favorite way to escape reality and dive into new worlds. I’m still very much the same kid who loved to "play pretend," just a bit more polished now!
I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have pursued my passion at Boston University’s School of Theatre, where I earned my BFA in acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre. From then I have performed both nationally (Addams Family Nat’l Tour), regionally (Forestburgh Playhouse, Axelrod Theatre, Asolo Rep) AND on a cruise ship (NCL Bliss). After finishing my run of Jersey Boys on the Norwegian Bliss, I’ll be swinging as Hodel and Tzietel in Asolo Rep’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. See you in Sarasota!
Alongside my love for theater, I’ve got a whole host of hobbies that keep me busy. My friends call me the “Queen of the Side Hustle” because I’m always creating new opportunities to grow and succeed. After getting my headshots done for college auditions, I decided to start my own photography business to support the lifestyle I wanted in college and beyond. At just 16, I grabbed my dad’s camera and Silhouettes by Sarah was born! Specializing in creative portraits, headshots, and a little bit of everything, my business has allowed me creative and financial flexibility in these crazy times. On top of photography, I’m passionate about content creation. I’ve been uploading on TikTok since 2019 (with a few breaks!) and have built a community of over 300k followers. I’ve even had the chance to work with some fantastic brands like Madewell, Colorful Natalie, and Society 6. Most recently, I’ve been documenting a home renovation series with my family as we renovate a house in DUMBO, Brooklyn. That series has garnered over 15 million views, with press coverage from outlets like Business Insider—read HERE!
