Hi! My name is Sarah Coleman

I’m an Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Content Creator based in the NJ/NYC/Boston area. Born and raised on the Jersey Shore (the area, not the show), I grew up immersed in amazing theater communities and have been drawn to the spotlight ever since. Whether it’s on stage, in front of the camera, or even performing in my kitchen, storytelling has always been my favorite way to escape reality and dive into new worlds. I’m still very much the same kid who loved to "play pretend," just a bit more polished now!

I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have pursued my passion at Boston University’s School of Theatre, where I earned my BFA in acting with a concentration in Musical Theatre. Fresh off my first professional contract at the Forestburgh Playhouse, where I rocked out as Sherrie in Rock of Ages, sailed away as Rachel in Escape to Margaritaville, and danced in the ensemble for The Prom and Beautiful, I’m excited to take on my next adventure. This October, I’ll be heading back to the Catskills to step into the heels of Janet Weiss in the iconic Rocky Horror Picture Show!

Alongside my love for theater, I’ve got a whole host of hobbies that keep me busy. My friends call me the “Queen of the Side Hustle” because I’m always creating new opportunities to grow and succeed. After getting my headshots done for college auditions, I decided to start my own photography business to support the lifestyle I wanted in college and beyond. At just 16, I grabbed my dad’s camera, and voilà—Silhouettes by Sarah was born! Specializing in creative portraits, headshots, and a little bit of everything, my business and relentless work ethic have allowed me to become financially independent while still in school. On top of photography, I’m passionate about content creation. I’ve been uploading on TikTok since 2019 (with a few well-deserved breaks!) and have built a community of over 290k followers. I’ve even had the chance to work with some fantastic brands like Madewell, Colorful Natalie, and Society 6. Most recently, I’ve been documenting a home renovation series with my family as we renovate a house in DUMBO, Brooklyn. That series has garnered over 15 million views, with press coverage from outlets like Business Insider—read HERE!
